Interferon Regulatory Factors

IRF family members are the major regulators of host defense in vertebrates. Their role include regulation of genes participating in innate and adaptive immune responses. All IRF members share a conserved N-terminal DNA Binding domain (DBD) and a more divergent IRF association domain (IAD) at the C-terminus. Projects in the lab focus on the regulation of IRF4/IRF8 and their role in B-cell development.
