Cellular processes are carried out by large protein molecular machines. Our research focuses in the structural and mechanistic study of DNA transactions such as transcription regulation, DNA replication and transcription termination. We use a hybrid structural biology approach through the combination of X-ray crystallography, Cryo Electron Microscopy (CryoEM), Small-Angle X-ray-Scattering (SAXS) with the ultimate goal of understanding biological processes at the molecular level.
